"Let Me Bug You"

The 2008-2010 administration is here! Our theme for the next two years will be "Let me Bug You". My symbol is Ladybugs, because they are little critters that make the world a better place and that is what we are all about! I am totally excited, enthusiastic and honored to be your president, for the next two years. I look forward to working with all the clubs, officers, and chairmen and as I said at the convention, our mission will be to develop leaders in Mount Diablo District and help our clubs any way we can with this same endeavor.

An important goal for this administration is to improve the attendance at the district meetings. We will be looking for stimulating and fresh programs for all to enjoy. Another goal is to set-up Mount Diablo District with a web site with all district information. Our Beacon newsletter will be processed electronically for those that have internet capabilities. We will provide a mailed copy for those that don't have this capability.

My Presidents project will be the "George Mark Children's House", providing compassionate, comprehensive and life-affirming care to children with life threatening conditions and their families. The love and support that the staff provides these families is absolutely incredible.

It is my hope and desire; the next two years will be both fun and educational for all! Thank you for all your support!
